FORMATION OF THE SOUTHERN MAJORETTE ASSOCIATION
From experience Committee Formed Constitutional Ruling Bodies with “Gentlemen's Agreements” and lots of Rules is OK for those that like it.
However we are looking at a more simplified set up and as there is NO Membership Fee to fund Committees etc with the associated costs, should work well.
The Founders of The Southern Majorette Association simply invites 2 Representatives from Troupes involved and they are the DBS Designated Adult Troupe Members that attend Competitions.
Items to discuss are forwarded prior to meeting to go on agenda with AOB available at the end of the Meeting itself.
One person speaks at any one time without interruption as an opportunity for any observations can be made after that person has finished speaking.
In the main discussions should revolve around the rules and operation of Competitions.
The Southern Majorette Association invites suggestions to improve the operation of Competitions for everybody's benefit. It also looks on these Meetings to inform Members of any relevant information regarding the Association.
